Dr. Matthew Hoberg is a senior physician executive with 30 years of experience spanning clinical care, consulting, and business leadership in anesthesia. A nationally recognized domain expert, he has advised many of the country’s largest hospital systems and regional anesthesia groups. Following his training at the University of Michigan, he practiced as a cardiac anesthesiologist for 15 years and held multiple hospital leadership roles including Medical Director and Chair of Surgical Services Executive Committee. As President and CEO of a leading regional anesthesia group, he drove significant growth, leading to its acquisition by MEDNAX/American Anesthesiology. At North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), he led the West Region—including Texas—overseeing 400+ clinicians and $230M+ P&L, achieving top national performance for 10 straight quarters. With deep experience in optimizing independent groups and transitioning services, Dr. Hoberg now focuses on building long-term, strategic partnerships between hospitals and clinicians, delivering tailored anesthesia solutions backed by national-level expertise.
