Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you fill out a contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or communicate with us regarding our consulting services. This may include your name, email address, organization name, and phone number.
When you start our contact form, what you enter (including details your browser fills in for you) is saved as you go, before you press send, so that we can reach you if you are interrupted. We use it only to follow up about your interest in our services, and you can ask us to delete it at any time at andrew@anesthesiaops.com.
When you reach our site from one of our ads or a tagged link, your browser keeps that link's click reference and campaign tags for up to 90 days and sends them with any inquiry you make. We use them to see which ads lead to inquiries, and we tell the ad platform (Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising) that an inquiry followed its click, using that click reference only, never your name or contact details. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, and the Microsoft Advertising tag, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the OpenAI Ads pixel to measure which of our Microsoft, LinkedIn and ChatGPT ads lead to inquiries. When an inquiry is sent or a booking link is clicked, the page tells the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the OpenAI Ads pixel that one happened. LinkedIn receives no name or contact details. The OpenAI Ads pixel may include a hashed (one-way scrambled) copy of the email address, phone number and name typed into a form on the page, made in your browser, which OpenAI uses only to match the inquiry to a ChatGPT ad click; it does not receive them in readable form.
When you read our site, our server looks up which organization owns the network you are connecting from, using public internet registry records (for example, a hospital’s own network). We keep only that organization’s name and which of our pages were read, never your IP address, and we ignore the networks of home, mobile and other internet providers. We use this to understand which organizations are interested in our services.
When you ask for one of our free resources (a guide, a market snapshot of a hospital's anesthesia market, or a one-page brief on anesthesia pay in a state), we keep your first name, work email, role and, if you give it, your organization; for a market snapshot or a pay brief, also your phone number and what you asked about (the hospital you looked up, or the state and report). With it we record when you asked, your IP address and browser (user agent), the page you asked from, any campaign tags from the link or ad that brought you, and a random session reference our site keeps in your browser, which links the pages you viewed on our site. We use these to give you the resource, to follow up about our services, and to stop the form being abused. We send marketing email only if you tick the box on the form, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
When you sign up for a resource, the page tells Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Microsoft Advertising tag that a signup happened (an event called resource_signup), without your name or email, so we can see which pages and ads lead to signups. A market snapshot's own page is never measured by them, because its address is your report's private link.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you about your inquiries, and to send you strategic insights and updates if you have opted in to receive them.
3. Data Security
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information or share it with other companies for their own marketing. Service providers that run our website and business process it for us and must keep it confidential: our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), the services we send email through (Microsoft 365 and Resend), and the analytics and advertising services named above, which receive page and event data, not your name or email (the OpenAI Ads pixel receives only the hashed copy described above).
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding this privacy policy, you may contact us at andrew@anesthesiaops.com.
